Commencing your Spiti Valley Group Tour in 2024, a thrilling holiday package awaits, filled with adventure and excitement. Upon your arrival at Chandigarh via train or flight, our driver will be there to greet you. From Chandigarh, we will embark on a scenic 4-hour drive to Shimla, passing through Barog and Solan. Along the way, we’ll make stops for lunch and comfort breaks. Depending on the time, you can explore the Mall Road of Shimla in the evening, featuring heritage buildings like Christ Church, Scandal Point, Gaiety Theater, Lower Bazaar, Lakkar Bazaar, and the Tibetan market.

On the second day of the Spiti Valley Summer Group Tour 2024, kick-start your day with breakfast at the hotel before embarking on an exhilarating road journey to Sangla Valley. As you leave Shimla, you’ll check out of the hotel and traverse through the picturesque villages of Fagu, Theog, Matiana, Narkanda, and Rampur, renowned for their apple, apricot, and cherry orchards. A lunch break is scheduled after Rampur, and by evening, you’ll arrive at Sangla Valley. The meal plan for the day includes both breakfast and dinner.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel, and at 08:45 A.M, check out to begin the day’s exploration. The first destination is Chitkul, situated at an elevation of 3,450 meters/11,318 feet, merely 10 kilometers away and a 40-minute drive. Known as the last Indian village on the Indo-Tibet Border in Baspa Sangla Valley, Chitkul is like a scene from a fairy tale. Take a leisurely walk around the village, soaking in the stunning landscapes and enjoying the enchanting atmosphere.

Embark on the fourth day of The Spiti Group Tour Package 2024 after a satisfying breakfast. Begin by checking out from the hotel and visiting the so-called Suicide Point near Roghi village, which has been transformed into a beautiful photo spot proclaiming “I Love Kinnaur.” This location is renowned for its cliffs and mesmerizing views of the Himalayan Mountains. From there, we proceed to Tabo, situated at an altitude of 3,280 meters/10,760 feet, covering a distance of 210 kilometers over approximately 9 hours.

Commence the day with a delicious breakfast and check out from the hotel. Begin your explorations by visiting the Tabo Monastery, founded in 996 A.D., making it the oldest monastery in the Himalayas. Renowned for its rich art and history, the Tabo Monastery stands as the oldest continuously functioning Buddhist monument in the world and the Himalayas, boasting original decorations, iconography, and wall paintings. The monastery compound comprises 9 chapels, and the major highlights include 32 life-size clay sculptures in the main Assembly hall.

Start your day by visiting the Key Monastery, one of the largest and oldest monasteries in the region. Absorb the serene atmosphere and enjoy panoramic views of the Spiti River from this hilltop marvel. Next, venture to the picturesque village of Kibber to witness traditional Spitian architecture and visit the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary to glimpse Himalayan wildlife. Conclude your day by exploring the stunning landscapes at the Langza village, famed for its Buddha statue and fossil hunting opportunities amidst breathtaking vistas of the Himalayas.

On your return journey from Kaza to Shimla, soak in the mesmerizing landscapes of Spiti Valley one last time. Depart from Kaza early in the morning, allowing ample time for stops to appreciate the beauty of the Himalayas. Pause at scenic viewpoints like Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-China border, and marvel at the Baspa River flowing through the valley. As you descend from the higher altitudes, make a stop at Sarahan to visit the Bhimakali Temple, an architectural gem with intricate wood carvings. Finally, arrive in Shimla, reminiscing about the spectacular journey through the captivating landscapes of Spiti Valley.
